Organic wine for $15/bottle or less – a winner in my books! This organic Malbec has all that you want from a Malbec: good jammy fruit flavours and aromas, with hints of violets on the nose.
The Bodega Argento team switched to organic and sustainable winemaking in 2012. A relatively young but highly awarded winery, Argento has been working with legendary wine consultant Alberto Antonini to create some seriously drinkable juice. Pair with grilled meats, of course, but it’ll also go with hard aged cheeses or grilled mixed Italian-style vegetables. There’s also an organic Cabernet Franc from the same label that’s hard to find but worth seeking out. About $15.
