A creative cocktail that takes advantage of this fall’s fresh crop of Okanagan pears — and the ever-stylish Empress 1908 Gin.
1.5 oz Empress 1908 Gin
1.5 oz Pear juice
1/2 oz Maple syrup
1/4 oz Red wine vinegar
Shake the pear juice, maple syrup and red wine vinegar in a cocktail shaker on ice. Strain into a chilled rocks glass and top with crushed ice. Float Empress 1908 Gin on top. Garnish with a fan of pear slices. Serves one.
