Here’s a fun and easy grown-up “dessert” cocktail from the team at Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria in Canada.
Save your fancy gins for something else, however; this is the place to use something less expensive, as the sorbetto will overpower a fine gin’s complexities.
- 1.5 oz gin
- 1 lime wedge, squeezed
- Ice to fill
- Tonic water
- Lime sorbetto (limone, if you’re buying it at an Italian shop)
Add 1.5 oz of gin to glass. Squeeze in 1 lime wedge. Fill glass with ice. Fill with tonic water to about one inch from top of glass. Top small scoop of lime sorbetto. Add straw or spoon. Serves one.
