Recipe: Northern Keep’s Keep It Together

We’re going into a heat wave, people. Keep It Together. No, really, here’s a new cocktail recipe from Northern Keep, Keep It Together, that’s guaranteed to refresh you on a hot summer day. Made in Alberta, Northern Keep is a Canadian vodka is made from winter wheat and rye grown here in Western Canada.

Best, every bottle sold helps to protect 0.5 metres square (about five square feet) of ecologically significant land in Canada, thanks to Northern Keep’s partnership with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). 

1 oz. Northern Keep Vodka 

1 oz. honey syrup (1:1 honey and water, combined together over low heat) 

3 strawberries (diced) 

3 lime wedges 

8 to 10 mint leaves 

Soda water 

Muddle mint, strawberries, limes and honey syrup in a highball glass. Add ice and Northern Keep Vodka, and then fill with soda. Stir to bring muddled ingredients up from bottom of glass. Garnish with a mint sprig. Serves one.
